Características del Latón

Latón es un término aplicado a todas las aleaciones cuya base es el Cobre y con altos porcentajes de Zinc.Para lograr determinadas propiedades en algunos casos se requieren pequeños porcentajes de estaño, plomo, aluminio, etc. Las aleaciones de Laton se clasifican en varios grupos, sirviendo de base el contenido de cobre para poderlas diferenciar.El Laton puede ser rechazado, troquelado, torneado, taladrado, soldado, estirado y pulido.
